📈 PREMARKET WATCHLIST – October 2, 2026

Published on: October 1, 2026

Market Overview

Thursday’s cash session closed mixed-to-firm after an early yield spike. The S&P 500 finished +0.2% at 7,666.45, the Dow added less than 0.1% to 50,926.56, the Nasdaq rose less than 0.1% to 26,871.60, and the Russell 2000 gained 0.3%. Software held up better than rate-sensitive groups, while the 10-year Treasury yield stayed near multi-decade highs and kept a lid on broad risk appetite.

This list is the closed Sowell IEX board (updated 11:37 PM ET) filtered for names that stayed green into the close with a usable catalyst. Rank is continuation first, then volume sustainability, then catalyst quality. IEX prints understate total volume; levels below use the scanner entry/exit zones and verified session stats. Friday’s premarket needs a hold above Thursday’s entry zone, not a first-touch chase.
